The Government announced yesterday that the service center that the Russian state Ilyushin Finance Co. plans to install in the country is located in the tropics of Cochabamba. Morales recalled that Russia proposed to install Executive repair center for aircraft manufactured in that country to fly in South America.
"This service center will be in Chimoré in the Cochabamba area, so this track will become an international airport," he said. Morales himself announced last August the Russian proposal, saying that the government of Dmitri Medvedev offered to invest "unconditionally" $ 5 million to set up plant maintenance. 
A month later, the Russian state company Ilyushin Finance Co. announced that Bolivia mounted on a center of maintenance and repair of Antonov aircraft to South America. Ilyushin's intention is to create a service and spare parts for Antonov-148 aircraft operating in the region from a center established in the country, which will create 120 jobs in high technology. Bolivia seek a loan to Russia possibly $ 100 million to finance the purchase of military equipment and the new presidential plane, which will cost $ 30 million and will be delivered in 2011. Paraguay
