Mexico City (January 6, 2011) .- Martha Velasquez and his father Joseph, traveled nine hours from the village of Roque in Celaya, Guanajuato, to attend the swearing-in Gerardo Sanchez as president of the National Peasant Confederation (CNC).
In return, the central PRI gave them a hot dog and a trip to the Basilica of Guadalupe.
After several farmers complained because they had not eaten breakfast, land commissioners from various states bought four hot dog vendors all the product they had in their posts for distribution the "guests." As

"We have nothing, and nothing else with which we deliver what they promised, and with that, because we know we will stay the same," said the farmer of 69 years.
Unlike politicians who wore their luxury SUVs - Honda, Mercedes Benz, Suburban, Chrysler - some farmers were not even touched seat on the bus that transported various states and arrived at the auditorium from 7:00 pm.
Martha Velazquez, who convinced his family to go, was that the truck traveled several people they had to stand for nine hours.
Another reason that made her go, he said, was to deliver a letter to Gerardo Sanchez, for help to build the roof of his house.
"We came to the village to see if they fulfill their promise and also to ask you to help me build the roof, the sheet that we have already crashed twice ... I hope my letter has not thrown that gave him" he said.
Like her, others also made requests to their leaders in the hope that the trip will help them obtain resources.
While waiting in line for being dealt a pack of fried chicken, Simon Antelmo of Veracruz, said the leaders forget their promises.
"I know they say things and then do not even visit the communities, but as with what they give us so we can help," he said.

described in the preceding note is that the PRI has done for decades: managing poverty. They are not interested in solving the problems of the country, wanting done so long ago. No, what interests them is the power to continue attached to the udder of the Treasury. So given poverty, populism, handouts, so that poor people continue voting for them hopefully with crumbs. Why not fix the problem they are interested in education, because of ignorance is exploited to continue managing poverty.
And coming back, and no tax reform, or labor, or energy, or any that are urgent for Mexico to develop.
