Again, this new march against insecurity, seeking peace, calls for a change of strategy the federal government. However, among the proposals made by marchers do not read any short term, all are medium and long term (education, values, judicial system, fight poverty, etc..), Including some even offer agree with organized crime. None of them is useful to stop the convoy of gunmen who today walks the streets and roads in the country, killing, stealing, extortion, and kidnapping innocent people.
And to top it up to call for stop using armed forces in fighting crime when they are the only institutions (Army and Navy) that have achieved tangible results. Today the laws and the Constitution require the executive powers of the 3 levels of government to combat organized crime (although governors and mayors do not). The use of force, weapons, by the State fighting crime is not optional for the Executive. It is mandated by law
If you want to change that strategy, the recipient of the slogans of the demonstrators should be the Congress to amend laws, approve any of the 16 initiatives money laundering that are frozen and the National Security Act that would regulate the use of armed forces, and a debate and eventual legalization of drugs. All that is pending in Congress. Unfortunately, while we remain in a party-in which politicians are not accountable to citizens, there is little hope.
